This breed loves to play and enjoys exercise and the outdoors. It is important that the handler spends time with them and avoid neglect since they can become bored easily and may lead to destructive behaviour. The Alaskan Malamute is also very possessive when it comes to food. It is headstrong and best handled by people who can show them who’s boss.
